Our Mushroom Knife – the one and only. Not only crafted from natural materials, this knife is made to last and serve proudly season after season.
Stainless steel blade is designed to never let you down. Sheath made of natural wool keeps your knife with you, and makes you look very good out there. The handle is made of birch and treated with natural wood oil to make it delightfully colorful, as well as, protecting the handle from moisture and dirt. The bristled end is innovative and praised by mushroom enthusiasts and made, naturally, of natural material.
Mushroom Knife is part of traditional Finnish craftsmanship and designed to last in use. We manufacture the knife by hand to ensure excellent finish and quality that will serve you for many years to come. Our materials are selected from sustainable and natural sources.

Handle: Finnish birch, treated with natural Osmo® wood wax (KP System Oy for wood/billet and Sarbon Woodwise Oy for Osmo)
Brush: selection of natural animal and plant fibers (MS Taito tmi)
Sheath: OEKO-TEX– standardized wool (Koskenpään Huopatehdas), cotton yarn for seams and recycled polyester for the label (Tuotenauha)

Every knife is a unique product made by hand so the exact measurements may vary a little. We assemble each knife in our workshop in Pirkkala, Finland, by hand. Assembly process consist of various work stages eg. sanding, polishing, waxing, glueing and driling. We recycle all of the little waste that comes from our production and our machinery uses very little amount of energy.
Repair and recycling:
Mushroom blade parts are, to some extend, changeable and repairable. Please consult us for repair issues via email. All parts can be recycled according to local regulations. Our products last, if maintained properly, a life time (or two) so please consult us before tossing out.
Wash the blade with detergent after each use and wipe to until dry. Handle can be wiped with a damp cloth. Sharpen the blade when needed. Mushroom knife is designed for chopping and cleaning mushrooms.
